Asda announces price freeze guarantee on petrol prices

Asda reduced petrol prices for the third time in a fortnight at all its forecourts on 24 October and announced a 10 day price freeze effective from that date.

Petrol is now 94.9p and diesel is 107.9p at all 172 petrol stations throughout the country. In this respect, Asda has been praised by MPs for its national pricing, whilst other supermarkets and petrol companies were criticised for adopting regional pricing leaving customers in some parts of the country to lose out on lower prices.
